Memory of travel around the suburban old township called Howrah. During the long quarantine period, I was exploring my memory of travel on the automatic drawing process as a laired rendering of spaces and activities. Most of the images are connected to the labor community of my hometown. This recent series of works are the imagination of chaos, through its appearance and disappearance.

The project Black is the new White is a part of my ongoing project Negotiating Neighborhood. Where the focus is to reengage with the habituated surroundings and relocate the value of the existing mundane atmosphere. Previously mentioned travel is connected to this project which exhibited on 31st December night 2019, at my rooftop. The lockdown made me rethink about material value and the importance of the relation between self and objects. Initially, the experiment happened with paper brush and ink, pastel, chalk, time and sweat.

El proyecto Black is the new White es parte de mi proyecto en curso Negotiating Neighborhood. Donde el enfoque es volver a comprometerse con el entorno habituado y reubicar el valor de la atmósfera mundana existente. El viaje mencionado anteriormente está relacionado con este proyecto que se exhibió la noche del 31 de diciembre de 2019, en mi azotea. El encierro me hizo repensar el valor material y la importancia de la relación entre el yo y los objetos. Inicialmente, el experimento se realizó con pincel de papel y tinta, pastel, tiza, tiempo y sudor.

Recuerdo de un viaje por el antiguo municipio suburbano llamado Howrah. Durante el largo período de cuarentena, estuve explorando mi memoria de viajes en el proceso de dibujo automático como una representación de espacios y actividades. La mayoría de las imágenes están conectadas a la comunidad laboral de mi ciudad natal. Esta reciente serie de obras son la imaginación del caos, a través de su aparición y desaparición.
