In my work I often use spent shotgun shells in order to start a dialogue on gun control and gun violence in America. These shells are so colorful and inviting that they engage the viewer with their beauty. Placing the spent shells in a home kitchen is disarming and odd.

En mi trabajo, a menudo utilizo cartuchos de escopeta gastados para iniciar un diálogo sobre el control de armas y la violencia con armas de fuego en Estados Unidos. Estas conchas son tan coloridas y atractivas que cautivan al espectador con su belleza. Colocar las cáscaras gastadas en la cocina de una casa es desarmador y extraño.
